Hi, I’m Katie Rae. I’m a photographer, writer, and film producer, now based along Florida’s 30A coast. For more than a decade, I’ve traveled to over 22 countries, telling stories of change and impact — from the African bush to my own neighborhood. My work blends documentary honesty with fine art detail, capturing light, beauty, and connection in even the simplest of moments.

I’ve camped in the Zambian wilderness, told the stories of mothers rebuilding life after prison in Tennessee, documented small businesses and brands with heart, and witnessed countless moments of joy, grit, and love between families. Adventure, travel, and immersion in other cultures are part of who I am — and now, as a mother, I carry that same spirit into the family I’m raising.

I’m an Air Force wife, mom to Cal, Quinn and Haz, lover of ice cream, flat whites, the ocean. My hope is to live in a way that stretches, tests, and pushes the boundaries of what is comfortable.
